Düsseldorf – June 12, 2015 – Ariane Systems, the global leader in self-service check-in/out technology for the hospitality industry, has launched web check-in at Lindner Hotels & Resorts in Germany. Ariane's enhancements, including Apple PassBook/Wallet integration and a German language version, benefit Lindner as one of the first adopters.

The pilot was successfully implemented at Lindner Hotel Airport Düsseldorf, a highly frequented property in North Rhine-Westphalia. With over 70% year-round occupancy, the hotel's business travelers often faced front desk queues.

From there, guests can review/change details, add amenities, and make online payments securely through SaferPay. On arrival, guests who completed the online check-in receive a confirmation email with instructions to retrieve their room key from the on-site Duo 2000 dispenser. The addition of a QR code in Apple's PassBook simplifies this process for Lindner's iPhone users.

Alongside guest-facing technology, Ariane integrates seamlessly with Lindner's existing systems such as Messerschmitt RFID door locks and OPERA 5 property management. A central dashboard provides hotel staff with reservation information and online transaction tracking.
Four additional Lindner properties in Düsseldorf, Leverkusen, and Frankfurt will implement Ariane's self-service technology this summer, with five more to follow.
