LEAD A DYNAMIC TEAM TO DELIVER INNOVATIVE SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS.

As Development Lead, you’ll oversee a talented team of developers, driving the technical execution of key projects. You’ll guide and mentor team members, ensure best practices are followed, and contribute directly to the codebase. This role is hands-on in both leadership and development, ensuring we build scalable, high-performance solutions that meet our customers' needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Development Lead, you’ll take charge of a development team, leading them in the design and implementation of software solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in making technical decisions, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

• Leadership – Lead a team of developers, providing mentorship and guidance to foster technical growth and collaboration.
• Development – Actively contribute to the development process, from writing code to reviewing pull requests.
• Collaboration – Work with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Continuous Improvement – Ensure the adoption of best practices and tools to optimise the development process.

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Managing day-to-day development tasks, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
• Overseeing code quality through code reviews and maintaining high standards.
• Collaborating with other teams to align development efforts with business and product goals.
• Contributing to architectural and design decisions to build scalable, efficient solutions.
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues and ensuring seamless execution.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Proven expertise in the .NET Core framework and relational databases, particularly SQL Server.
• Experience designing, developing, and optimising scalable architectures such as Microservices, Serverless, and Event-Driven Systems.
• Ability to mentor and lead junior and mid-level developers, guiding them through complex technical challenges and fostering professional growth.
• Strong decision-making skills in selecting appropriate technologies and frameworks, with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies to ensure smooth, efficient delivery of high-quality software.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) and with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React (full-stack experience is a plus).
• Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate, coach, and ensure team collaboration and accountability.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Full-stack is a plus: experience with Vue.js, Angular, or React

GOOD TO HAVE

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure SQL
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
