How can indoor self-service kiosk help hotel guests?

 

Arriving and departing hotel guests can use the kiosk to:

  • Check in to their room and pick up the room key in a few simple steps. This includes completion of registration card, passport scanning, adding products and credit card payment.
  • Check-out and leave the hotel. This includes reviewing any expenses, update of billing address and credit card payment.
  • Walk-in when arriving without a hotel reservation. This includes selecting an available room and completing the same steps as for regular check-in. 
  • In-house (already checked-in guests) can use the kiosk to create an additional or replacement key.
  • Pick-up room keys
  • in less than 20 seconds by scanning a QR code if pre-check-in was done online before arrival.

What if I need the guest's signature?

 

Some hotels, regions, and legislations require the guest to sign the registration card. Guest signatures can easily be captured during kiosks and online check-in. Guest signs directly on the screen and the signature is stored in the same PDF file as the registration card.

Can I customize the check-in form?

 

Absolutely. You can collect any sort of information you want. Customizing the form is very easy to do.

Is the payment system secure?

 

We handle all paymentwith extreme care. All payment transactions are secure and implemented following industry "best practice” and in compliance with local legislation. We never handle (or have access to) credit card numbers and related information in clear. Ariane is also certified for PCI DSS v3.2.1

Can I customize the kiosk?

 

The inside kiosks come in a variety of colors and can be customized with your own graphics.

What If my hotel doesn't have a Property Management System?

 

Our outdoor kiosks can be fully managed by our ABOL software and can operate without a PMS integration. ABOL allows you to manually add reservations, the assigned room number, and the price (to pay). Arriving guests will complete the registration card, scan ID if required, and pay using a credit card before getting access to their electronic or mechanical key.

Can I customize the check-in form?

What if our hotel is working with mechanical keys?

 

Our outdoor kiosks can be delivered with keycard compartments instead of encoders for electronic keys.  Load your mechanical keys to an empty compartment, update the reservation in the PMS with the corresponding compartment number and the correct key will be dispensed when the arriving guest completes check-in.

How can online check-in & out help hotel guests?

 

Arriving and departing hotel guests can use the mobile service to:

  • Check-in to their room before arrival and get a notification once the room is ready. The notification includes a QR code used to pick up a room key from one of our kiosks in less than 20 seconds.
  • Check-in includes completion of registration card, the capture of guest signature and approval of terms & conditions, estimated arrival time, and secure online payment. 
  • Check-out and leave the hotel. This includes reviewing any expenses, update of billing address, and secure online payment
