What's New in Allegro Cloud v7.13.0

We are proud to announce the release of Allegro Cloud v7.13.0 This is our second major release in 2023 and includes several changes to make our product easier to deploy, manage and use. Take a look at some of the exciting new functionality included in the release. 

> express check out update

The express check-out logic has been updated by adding the billing address update to the express check-out scene. 
Once the updated scene is done, the guest will be sent to the standard payment scene, making it possible to pay with the card on file (if supported byt the installed payment solution/PMS) or with a new card. 

> Notification update

• Room is ready! 

In the "Room is ready" notification email, an Apple wallet button was added, and the confirmation number previously displayed has been replaced with the pick-up code to be used instead of QR code (if needed). 

• • • The payment receipt notification is now excluded from the quiet hour logic. 
    • Notifications language: 
      
      - Configuration of the country matched to the preferred language used in Notifications when preferred language is not specified, and country of guest can have multiple official languages
      
      - Support of configuration in Back-Office in the Notifications Settings menu
      
      - One language to country pair possible 

To facilitate the deployment of our product and constantly improve it, and make it more intuitive to use for our customers, here are some of the "behind the scenes" features we are deploying in Allegro 7.13.0:

> back office updates

In the new Allegro update, find some improvements such as: 

• Creation of a new alert for loss of PMS connectivity 
• Removal of the "schedule column" in the Notifications settings & Communications preferences (only static values)
• Implementation of the last push and pull date from the PMS
• In the Endpoints Configuration module, the addition of the library settings for the following devices:
  - Payment settings - Portalum ZVT
  - Printer settings - Citizen PMU3300
• The language selector configuration has been moved to the skin designer section

> StatisticS module updates

With this version, various bugs were fixed and data corrected. Plus, find the addition of the walk-in filtres for kiosks only. 

> dashboard updates

• Resend invite check-in
  

Under the reservations details view, we added a button to resend SMS and email invites to the online check-in. Those resend invites will be sent to the contact info on record. 

• Cop online check-in/out URL 

In case you need to send the URL to online check-in/out, this feature allows to click on the copy symbol to copy this URL. Practical, if you need to send this URL to another email address. 📩

All T4 reservations are labeled as "requiring attention"; online reservations are flagged as requiring attention but check-in did not started. 

> arrival and departure module re-organisation

⬅️ The silent hour section from Notification settings was moved to Arrival Time Settings page.
Updated and refactored layout of the page and settings. 

> estimated time of arrival update

• The dependency from the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and the kiosk check-in start time was removed to be able to choose a kiosk check-in start time freely 
• Addition of a new toggle button to enable the buffer for room assignment ; This button will affect queuing as following ⬇️: 
  - If enable the room assignment will start at ETA - buffer 
  - If disable the room assignment will start at the normal check-in start time 

> payment not completed flag

In the Back Office, you can now flag reservations where guest started the online payment part (redirect to payment gateway) but did not return to complete the online check-in scenario. The flag will be visible on the reservation details in the dashboard. 

> autolock update

The auto-lock configuration is now following the new hotel statuses update, and will only work for live, paused and canceled hotels. 

> email cc for receipt

Through Allegro V7.13.0, we now offer the possibility for hotels to configure emails that will also receive a copy of the receipt sent to the guest by email.


> packages upsell

• The current logic for upsell package filtering was extended. Now, in the Back Office in the Rate Exceptions field can be defined. 
  For example, BAR and all the rates starting with BAR will be treated as already being included in the packages. 
• Improve upsell packages configuration:
  On the Add/Edit upsell package pages, the checkboxes Custom Quantity Enabled and Modify Number of Packages are mutually exclusive.
  
  Both settings cannot be saved as true at the same time.
